Love this place! My bestie was visiting and we both have dogs. We wanted to eat on a patio with our dogs in tow and we felt very welcome on their cute little patio. It was a chilly afternoon, no worries they turned on the patio heater and it was perfect. I splurged and did the chirashi ($35) and had a spicy scallop hand roll ($8.75). I think I liked the regular scallop hand roll (had tobiko on it!) better. I had it last time but this time it was not on the menu. No big deal, everything was delicious and fresh. Ama ebi was $23.50 for 2 pieces. Seems pretty steep in price. My friend was tempted but couldn't see paying that. And no fresh wasabi. All in all this is a great place. Service was good and quick. We showed up right when it opened at 5pm. By the time we left the place was packed on a Wednesday.

Fresh but could be better. Fish quality was great, but the rice was slightly dry. Rolls were creative and well-balanced. Overall, a solid sushi spot.

This sashimi was amazing. The texture was smooth, and the natural sweetness of the fish really came through. Each bite was so fresh and flavorful, making it one of the best sashimi experiences I have had.

Greeted on arrival and sat right away. Server was attentive and efficient, brought drinks and water immediately. Were told an app we ordered was not available and he recommended his fave, it was fantastic! Our special rolls came out in a timely manner and our green tea and waters were refilled promptly and regularly. It's a small place but even when full, the noise level was fine and the ambiance was great. We had the following and recommend all of them! Agedashi Tofu - The best broth of any restaurant (I drank it like soup!) agedashi tofu in CA (if it's on the menu, I order it), and I have been to many. The tofu coating was perfectly crispy. Jalapeño Popper - Our server's recommendation and was delicious! Don't miss it! Jessica Albacore, Firecracker, Baja California and Super California rolls were all fantastic. The crispy onions on the Jessica Albacore ‍. The whole experience was outstanding and I love how it's in my 'hood! My new go-to for local sushi.

Amazing experience! The ambiance was perfect. As a traveling couple with a dog we look for outdoor seating and dog friendly restaurants. Sushi Heaven was very accommodating plus gave our doggo a water bowl! Servers were very attentive, welcoming, and we were given everything in a timely manner. 10/10!

Overall we had a good experience. Staff are nice & service was good. Ambience is ok, felt like a real local sushi place with all decorations & photos. We sat indoors, but the outdoor area looked very nice & cozy. - Hamachi Carpaccio - nice pieces of fresh fish with a good light sauce. - Sashimi dish - a great variety of fish, all fresh and decent size. We were also able to skip the fish we don't eat and they replaced them with other options which we appreciate.

My family and I decided to give this place a shot while staying in Carmel for a wedding. It was walking distance from us which was a plus. The place is small, but cozy and quaint. The customer service was great and the staff is very friendly. They offer a great selection of sushi and everything we ordered was packed with flavor and tasted extremely fresh and it was well prepared. We were all very happy with our choices. I would absolutely return to this restaurant the next time I'm in the Carmel area.

It's a quaint little joint: the restaurant is pretty narrow but decorated really cute with pictures of customers on the wall at the entrance. All of the sushi chefs and waiters were super friendly. Even when we were there a little past closing to finish up our dessert. We got to sit outside and they turned on the heat lamp for us so it was a nice experience. All the food was super delicious. We loved the fried oysters and they served it with katsu sauce. My beef katsu plate was huge and they gave me 2 full cutlets, a side salad and rice. The oyakodon was such a large serving but our daughter loved it. My husband's chirashi was a sizable portion as well and the fish tasted super fresh. We finished off dinner with the tempura green tea ice cream which was definitely a must try since the tempura batter tasted like banana. It was so good! We would definitely come back.

Great tasting sushi at a small establishment. Outdoor seating available to enjoy the warm weather and if you happen to bring your pet. Great service too. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for really good sushi!

Food was very delicious! Dessert was amazing! Service was pretty good, we made reservations for 8:00 but they put us down for 8:30, we still got seated within 10 mins which wasn't so bad! The owner was very sweet and they have an outdoor seating option with heaters. They don't have any cocktails unfortunately. The inside is pretty tight and they have pictures all over the walls with past customers which is nice. Overall everything was pretty good!
